Connecticut SEO Competition

So, we are having a competition at work. Who is better at SEO??? Couple of friends at work and I are competing for the term Connecticut SEO. Now that's GEEKY!!! Lol, although we are having fun, couple of companies that are supposed to rank for those terms will have to go to page 2 because we are going to take three spots in the first page. Sorry :(

I'm at an advantage because I can create cookie pages like this one and it won't hurt my business, cause I don't have one, lol. So why am I optimizing for this keyword? To test a theory that you can rank for any generic long tail keyword(s) with minimal efforts. I used to rank well for web designer in Connecticut, but I'm slipping in the ranking for that because I changed my title tag and other content to SEO in Connecticut.

It's mostly about the title tag and inbound link with proper anchor text. And as of 10/2/2009, I'm on position 14th for "Connecticut SEO".
